SMP’s brokerage platform is an outgrowth of its market analysis and strategic planning services.  In the early years, SMP was engaged by hospitals and medical groups to identify new off campus expansion markets and by investor groups to identify strategically sound medical office buildings.  What began as purely consulting services has evolved into a targeted offering of brokerage services, including tenant representation and medical office building acquisition.  A key differentiator in using SMP for brokerage services is that its clients get not only great representation, but also keen insight into the healthcare industry as a whole and the competitive dynamics in the market where a property is located.
