Project Description:

Drawing upon its experience planning and developing the Tri-City Health & Wellness Center in Carlsbad, SMP worked closely with Hoag to develop a conceptual business model for an integrated health and fitness center that would provide services on a retail basis, to Hoag employees, to large area employers, and to health plans.

Heffernan Memorial Healthcare District

Project Description:

SMP worked closely with Heffernan to identify healthcare needs in the Calexico community, to develop strategic initiatives aimed at addressing those needs, and to attract operating partners with whom Heffernan could partner to provide the needed services.  During its time working with Heffernan, SMP was involved in initiatives including 24 hour urgent care, telemedicine, chronic disease self-management, and the Program for the All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

UCLA Health System

As a subconsultant to CB Richard Ellis, Strategic Medical Properties has been the medical real estate expert on a team tasked with evaluating UCLA Health System’s owned and leased real estate portfolio.  The goal of the project is to identify short term and long range expansion, space efficiency, and cost savings opportunities for the Health System.
